Discourse and Sustainability is a level one module introducing a key skill for working in a globalized world; sustainability literacy. The basis of this skill is the acquisition of a critical understanding of the values and world views fostered by dominant cultural discourses, and the effects of these values on people and planet.

Education must effectively empower all people to make responsible and informed decisions, both

individually and collectively, thus preparing them to successfully deal with present and future

challenges and to commit their active participation in the construction of common future for all.
